SLSC has re-opened for season 2021-22
SLSC is a long established (1978) Dinghy Racing and Sailing Club. Based at Strathclyde Country Park. Just off junction 6 on M74. The Park borders Motherwell and Hamilton areas, so easy access on local roads.
We meet twice a week for racing. Every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening (April -Sept). Non-competitive sailing on Friday mornings.
Our training team deliver RYA approved courses for Juniors and Adult. Juniors, stages 1 - 3. Adults, levels 1 and 2. We are members only club and so do not provide courses for the public. We provide attractive packages for new members.
We have a fleet of 17 boats available for hire to qualified members. Lasers, Picos and Wayfarers. Cost £5 per person for a two-hour session

Future events. The Club is taking part in the RYA Discover Sailing programme. Discover Sailing Taster sessions will be on Sunday throughout late May until end of July. SLSC follow Scottish Government guidance on Covid-19. You should not come along if you have any symptoms. Follow the protocol instructions displayed in the compound. PPE, masks, gloves, and hand sanitisers are provided.
